VSA have an exciting opportunity available to join our Ruthrieston House Service as a Support/Care Worker based in Aberdeen. This will be a permanent position and in return, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits.
Applicants need to be fully experienced with UK procedures in Support Work within a residential setting. Dementia awareness training preferable.
Ruthrieston House is a 40 bed residential care homes situated in Aberdeen city that provide 24 hours a day care for people in their mid-later years in life who need extra care and support in their daily lives. Based in the west end of Aberdeen city, Ruthrieston House is located on the outskirts of the city on Broomhill Road.
The main aim of Ruthrieston House is to encourage and promote independence and encourage service users to maintain their abilities for as long as they possibly can by using person-centred approaches.
Hours: 39 hours per week available Must be experienced working in residential care within Aberdeen.
Rota: Working a 7 day rolling rota, you will be required to work a variety of shifts across 7 days including early/evening and every 2nd weekend, therefore flexibility is essential.
Salary: £12.20 per hour
